Lily Yang, M.D., Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Surgical Oncology Research, Department of Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine Dr. Yang's research is focusing on the development of novel approaches for cancer treatment and detection, including the investigation of the feasibility and mechanism of targeting the inhibitor of apoptosis proteins - such as survivin and XIAP - for induction of specific cell death and early detection of the cancer cells.
